This cast iron is pre-seasoned. When washing your cast iron, use only hot water, no soap.
After your cast iron dries thoroughly, very lightly coat your cast iron with your choice of cooking oil. This helps prevent rust and maintains seasoning for next use.
If you need to season you cast iron for whatever reason, you will need to thoroughly wash you cast iron.
Once dry, apply a thin coat of cooking oil to inside and outside of all pieces.
Place oiled pieces on top rack of oven, and place a baking sheet, or something alike, on the bottom rack to catch possible oil drips.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
We recommend letting your cast iron cool down completely before removing from oven, to prevent burn or injury.
