12" Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Devised by the team at Barebones Living — who pride themselves on each product’s quality and design — this dutch oven is built to be used basically anywhere, whether that’s in the oven, on the grill, or over an open fire. The best part is the cast iron body, which’ll earn a rich seasoning the more you use it, resulting in meals that are deeper and more nuanced in flavor. But its features go beyond that: the wide-foot design keeps the whole thing freestanding and versatile, while the lid allows for ideal steaming and venting. There’s also a charcoal briquette temperature guide on the underside of the lid. Because with the right information, anybody can be a pitmaster.

This cast iron is pre-seasoned. When washing your cast iron, use only hot water, no soap. After your cast iron dries thoroughly, very lightly coat your cast iron with your choice of cooking oil. This helps prevent rust and maintains seasoning for next use. If you need to season you cast iron for whatever reason, you will need to thoroughly wash you cast iron. Once dry, apply a thin coat of cooking oil to inside and outside of all pieces. Place oiled pieces on top rack of oven, and place a baking sheet, or something alike, on the bottom rack to catch possible oil drips. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. We recommend letting your cast iron cool down completely before removing from oven, to prevent burn or injury.
