In the 1930s, the Civilian Conservation Corps provided work to those suffering from the Great Depression by offering jobs in forest management, flood control, and various conservation and construction projects. This shovel takes inspiration from the shovels designed for those working for the CCC. The easy, twist-lock head has positions for shoveling, trenching, and storage, and is constructed from beechwood and Manganese steel.
