Pulaski Axe

Start splitting.

Few sensations in life are as satisfying and primal as the feeling of chopping firewood—the folks at Barebones designed this axe to help you discover that feeling.

The hand-sharpened, 1055 high-carbon steel split head has a weighted, wide angle, with two blades to choose from: a rounded blade for chopping on one side, and a horizontal mattock blade for cutting and grubbing on the other. It can do it all, and it holds a wicked edge no matter what.

The beechwood handle is built with a ⅓" solid steel core for durability, and attached to the head via a hex bolt, making it easy to switch out the handle or the head if either wears out way down the line.

To cap it all off, the pommel base will serve as a hammer if you need to pound some tent stakes into the ground. Get out into the fresh air, and unleash your inner lumberjack with this one-of-a-kind tool.
