Bartram's Bitters

A 180-year-old recipe, resurrected.

Inspired by the country's oldest botanical garden, Bartram's Bitters is based on a 180-year-old recipe — one that was hand-written by John William Bartram (the great-grandson of the founder of Bartram's Garden in Southwest Philadelphia in 1728). If that's not cool, we don't know what is.

The bitters are made from a blend of wild cherry, sassafras, wintergreen, and other plants from Bartram's Garden that give it a unique regional flavor.
