Arctic Monkeys

English indie rockers Arctic Monkeys have come a long way since mashing liberal doses of Stokes influence with the frenetic pace you'd expect from a precocious crew of teenagers in the early aughts. Angular guitars, breakneck drumming, and the witty croon of singer Alex Turner's voice has taken the band from being local heroes in northern England to the thrice-Grammy-nominated, mainstream-ish success they are today.
