BLUNT
All Greig Brebner wanted was to quit getting poked in the eye so often. Umbrellas were always inverting in the stiff London wind, stabbing at the tall New Zealander and leaving everyone involved soaked. Greig set out to change that. Until then, the modern umbrella hadn’t changed since 1928. But in 1999, Greig began a process that ended with BLUNT, the world’s first fully tensioned canopy umbrella. Able to withstand a wind tunnel’s maximum setting of 72 mph, his umbrellas are designed to easily outlast the elements.
