Creedence Clearwater Revival was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame in 1993, but by then it was just a formality. They'd already become a staple of American music and dominant on the airwaves. Perhaps most impressively, CCR produced most of their hits in a single 18-month period, and burned through the arch of a complete musical career in less than 5 years.
