True to its name, Dan's Whetsone Company was founded by Dan Kirschman, an expert mining engineer who saw a need for a finer, better-crafted whetstone. What started out as a side hobby turned into a family business that boasts over 350 natural Arkansans products, from whetstones, to coasters, to building materials. From the quarry to the finished product, Dan's Whetstone Company is the only complete, end-to-end producer and supplier of natural Arkansas novaculite whetstones.
