Johnny Cash
Born in 1932 and possessed of over 100 hit singles over the course of 40-odd creative years, Johny Cash is a forefather of both rock & roll and the edgy blend of country-folk music that made him a household name. He was the youngest inductee to the Country Hall of Fame in 1980, worked with a laundry list of talents from Bob Dylan to Willie Nelson to Rick Rubin, and even had his own TV show for a two year stint. Cash has sold more than 90 millions records around the globe, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. He passed in 2003 at the age of 71.
