Joy Division

Joy Division was formed in 1976 and active until 1980, ushering in a new generation of electronica music. Band members Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris, and Ian Curtis relied heavily on bass to convey the mental anguish that they strived to create in their art.
