LCD Soundsystem

James Murphy, the voice behind critical darlings LCD Soundsystem, introduced the world to his brand of infectious dance punk in 2002. After five cult (and not-so-cult) hit records, multiple Grammy Award nominations, and a farewell show at Madison Square Garden, Brooklyn-based LCD took an indefinite hiatus in 2011. Reformation rumors proved true in 2016 when the band launched a string of high-profile shows followed by a new record, American Dream, the following year.
