Otter-Messer

Otter was founded by the Berns brothers in 1840, at the site of a traditional German grinder’s watermill. Named after the local wildlife in the riverbanks by the streams where the company was born, Otter-Messer uses the same traditional methods as it first did over 150 years ago. This meticulous craftsmanship has been overseen by Frank Rommel since 2011, and is applied to knives for all purposes, including home, garden, hunting, and leisure.
