Plumen

Launched in 2010, Plumen is the world's first designer of low energy light bulbs. Each bulb saves up to 80% on energy bills and lasts 8 times longer than a standard incandescent bulb. In the past five years the company has expanded to include two bulb designs and five pendant sets, and has received the prestigious Black Pencil Award at the 2011 D&AD awards. Affordable, efficient, and beautiful, its products are included in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Collection, and the Design Museum in Helsinki.
