Solange Knowles is a singer, songwriter, model, actress, and has even been a backup dancer for sister Beyoncé's launchpad, Destiny’s Child. Knowles found commercial success as a performer in 2007 with the release of Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. She went on to nab a Grammy in 2016 for Best R&B Performance for A Seat At the Table's "Cranes in the Sky", as well as a nod from Billboard Women in Music as the first artist honored with their Impact Award in 2017.
