Vaughan Manufacturing Company got its start in 1869, when the then 18-year old blacksmith founder received his first patent for an improved post auger. The demand for his invention led to the making of custom tools, which soon becomes the base of the business. 150 years later the company is still family owned and making some of the most respected and requested tools in the market.
