It feels good to know how to build and fix stuff. Girls Garage aims to empower girls (and adult women) to shape the world around them through simple construction and repair projects. Between its covers, you'll find illustrated tool guides, how-to projects, essential skills, and stories from real-world builder girls and women that'll inspire you to get your hands dirty and take on your next project DIY-style.
Behind it all is nonprofit founder Emily Pilloton, who started Girls Garage as a way to give girls the tools to build the world they want to see. Working with girls 9-18, the nonprofit helps empower them to take on the world and with this book, it aims to spread that message across the globe.
