Prairie Sock

Knit protection for your feet.

Tokyo-based maker of spirited, premium socks, Glen Clyde knows a thing or two about sewing up some serious comfort. Each sock in their Chup line sports deep and complex patterning inspired by the folk art of native cultures from across the globe, and is made in Japan from a custom cotton blend on traditional stocking frame sewing machines before being finished and closed by hand. This ensures that each sock stands the test of time and will keep stepping for years to come. This sock's prairie motif is that of the Rio Grande Valley Chimayo tribe's traditional woven rugs. Because of the tribe's noted appreciation for plantlife, this patterning evokes images of lush greenery.
