David Lane makes superior watch straps by hand, using some of the old-world traditions taught to him by his grandfather, an old shoe cobbler from Budapest. In addition to handcrafting each piece and employing techniques like edge dying, hand stitching, and triple sealing, Lane sources his leather from the famous Horween Leather Company in Chicago. Horween has been producing some of the finest hides for over a century, and continues to be used by leather masters today.
