Abisko Hybrid Jacket – Lake Blue
There's nothing worse than being caught unaware. Your boss busting you for checking out a few minutes early is one thing, but when it comes to the great outdoors, being surprised can get dangerous — or at the very least, extremely uncomfortable. Fjällräven’s offerings ensure that you're ready for the elements, but with a sharp eye on modern styling that’s just as fit for braving downtown as it is the great outdoors.
Other than boasting an unpronounceable name, The Sweden-born company made their name on the G-1000 fabric, the ready-for-anything material your days demand. Typically used as tent material, G-1000 is made from tightly woven polyesters and cotton that's blended with Greenland wax. Back in 1960, Fjällräven founder Åke Nordin decided to make a jacket and trouser set with the material, laying the groundwork for the brand’s water- and wind-resistant outerwear.
The Abisko Hybrid Jacket is one of Fjällräven's most versatile pieces. Made from fast-drying G-1000, the jacket is great for quick hikes and every day outdoor life. It packs small, but has big protection from the wind and rain. It features a fixed adjustable good, a two-way zipper, and ventilation holes at the toke and under the arms. It's finished with two hand pockets, elastic cuds, and hem adjustment.
