Other than boasting an unpronounceable name, The Sweden-born company uses G-1000 fabric, the ready-for-anything material your journeys demand. Typically used as tent material, G-1000 is made from tightly woven polyesters and cotton that's blended with Greenland wax. Fjällräven founder Åke Nordin decided to make a jacket and trouser set with the material, creating a water and wind-resistant, all-weather product that's not only great for a variety of conditions, but can be used in a variety of outerwear and pieces.
The Gear Bag by Fjällräven is one of most durable carriers you'll ever own. It's made from heavy-duty double-waxed G-1000 fabric, keeping the contents clean and dry. It's the perfect size and can be used for everything from toiletries, to cords, to first aid, and more. The Gear Bag features a heavy YKK zipper with a leather tab, a side handle, one main compartment, and two open spaces.
