Beautiful, authentic, and ready to be used over an open flame. True to Japanese earthenware tradition, this donabe is a one-stop pot made in collaboration with an 8th-generation pottery kiln in Shigaraki, Japan. A time-honored way to serve guests.

  • Crafted from highly-prized clay from Lake Biwa in Japan
  • Rounded shape and 3 steam holes in lid to cook up to three cups of grains
  • Each piece has unique qualities courtesy of natural materials
  • Over time, the bottom of the donabe and interior will darken with patina
  • Not for use on electric or induction stove, gas stove only
