Liquid Smoke

Let your food go up in smoke.

When you're making a barbecue sauce that needs a little something extra, add in some smoke (in liquid form). A little mesquite is mixed with hickory, they smoke is then captured in distilled water and bottled, so that warm, just-grilled taste can be bottled up. It can also be used to deepen the flavors of fresher ingredients or in soup recipes. It only takes a few drops to completely transform your dish, so don't be too heavy-handed with this stuff, a little goes a long way.
