A wok is essential if you want to make the perfect stir-fry. Its versatile, round-bottomed design originates in China, and is ideal for everything from steaming, frying, poaching, and boiling. The high-density black carbon steel can withstand higher temperatures, allowing for longer pre-heating, and provides greater control for cooks of all levels of experience.

  • Hand-wash with hot water immediately after use, towel dry.
  • Prior to first use, clean the pan with hot water to remove protective beeswax coating. To season, cover bottom of pan with flavorless oil and heat for five minutes, then let pan cool, drain oil, and wipe down. Do this twice, and the pan will acquire natural non-stick properties.
