Brass Growhouse

Plants, light, and glass: a simple formula. The Growhouse, however, puts them together in a new way. Inside this compact, glass and brass enclosure is an array of custom, full-spectrum LEDs. You can use the built-in timer to plan out low- and full-light cycles, and the hinged door will keep moisture in between waterings. Whether you place this on a counter, shelf, or mount it on a wall, this is the perfect way to have access to fresh herbs — or house a favorite houseplant — year-round.

Modern Sprout was started by a couple looking to create a garden in their Chicago apartment and having no luck growing plants on their own. Looking into hydroponics, they found lots of exposed tubing, grow lights, and plastic buckets. They decided to collaborate with a master grower and create a beautifully designed and easy to use hydroponic system, along with lots of other easy grow options. The business started on Kickstarter and is currently sprouting up in homes all over the US.
