Self-Watering Planter – Medium

For your brown thumb.

In a world where over or underwatering can be deadly, shouldn't there be a way for a plant to decide how much water it gets for itself? Enter the self-watering pot. This MoMA-approved design consists of a terracotta planter inside a reservoir of hand-blown glass — the idea being that anything you plant inside will draw exactly as much water as it needs through the porous clayware. The kit's safe for indoor and outdoor use (unless it's literally freezing out) and comes in three sizes: this one's big enough to fit a potted azalea, fern, and more.

  • (Diam.) 7.4" x (H)6.5"
  • Half glazed terracotta
  • Handblown glass reservoir
  • Dishwasher Safe
  • Made in Sweden
