Charcoal Purifying Cube

There's a lot of crap in the air. Literally. From pollen, to dead skin cells, to, yup, fecal matter, the air you breathe is filled with unsavory inhabitants. But that's why people have air purifiers right? Yes, but most are overly expensive, jack up your energy bill, and provide unwanted background noise. For an air purifier that has everything you want and nothing you don't, look to the Chikuno Cube, an all natural alternative to modern day purifiers.

It's a cube made from an ultra-fine powder of activated bamboo charcoal and clay minerals that's been processed at high temps, making the cube porous. This allows access to its micro-honeycomb structure, resulting in a small cube that can absorb odors in an enclosed space of up to 17 square feet. It's great for fridges, bathrooms, closets, and other small spaces. Each cube lasts up to a year, and can be refreshed purely by exposing it to sunlight.

  • Single cube only

  • To refresh the cube, expose to direct sunlight for six hours each month. This releases the absorbed odors and makes it ready for reuse. After a year, recycle it as fertilizer by breaking apart the cube and planting the bits in the soil or litter.
