How do you recreate the greatest pencil ever made? Faithfully. That's the philosophy behind the Palomino Blackwing 602. This high-quality writing tool is modeled almost identically after the long-discontinued Eberhard Faber model of the same name (basically, the Excalibur of pencils). What makes it so great? A firm, smooth graphite core allows soft, dark lines with minimal effort – hence the 602's inscription of "Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed." And an iconic tapered eraser ferrule provides more precise corrections, as well as the ability to replace the eraser once it’s been worn down.
