The General Baseball Bat
A handmade tribute to baseball history.
Truth is, no one really knows who invented baseball. That said, there are theories. One popular legend involves a man by the name of Abner Doubleday, a former Civil War general, who supposedly came up with the game in a cow pasture in Cooperstown, New York.
While that myth may or may not be just that – a myth – this exclusive baseball bat was crafted for Bespoke Post in Doubleday's honor. Hand-spun in the USA, it features a solid maple wood body that's been finished with a painted design inspired by the stars and stripes on his Union army uniform. Don't worry, we won't judge if you decide not to put it to use in the field.
