Gulf Oyster Shucker

The right way to shuck an oyster. And there is a wrong way.

Every knife has its place in the kitchen. One slices bread, another is just right for steak. This Gulf Shucker is perfect for shucking the toughest oysters. It has a long, flat blade and a heavy wooden handle that helps to split the shell cleanly, so as not to hurt the tender meat inside. If there's a lot of messing around with the blade, there's a good chance that the best part of the oyster will be damaged, and that's one shell of a problem.
