Trouble is the first album from Ray LaMontagne, an American singer-songwriter defined as much by his introspective lyrics as his smoky voice. While the album didn’t meet with much critical attention at first, it eventually found its way onto UK and US musical radars, winning three Boston Music Awards and selling 239,000 copies along the way. Trouble's success fueled the creation of another five records, two Grammy nominations, and headlining spots at dream venues like the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic.
