Woolly Mammoth Ivory 3" Damascus Steel Lockback Knife
There are knives, and then there are knives. This is clearly the latter.
That uniquely eye-catching handle is made from the ivory tusk of an actual Woolly Mammoth, thawed in present-day Siberia. That's right — it’s an actual fossilized specimen of the 15,000 pound, 12-foot-tall giants who braved the Ice Age. This particular fossilized remain comes from a mammoth that lived around 15,000 years ago, which lends one hell of a history to your new favorite knife.
Oh, and the blade features a Japanese "Sanmai" Damascus blade, a dramatically strong and sharp steel that holds an edge especially well, and looks damn cool to boot. It's made in Japan with 33 high-carbon layers that are pressed between metal plates with precise fittings to create an especially beautiful, specialized raindrop pattern.
