An American-made timepiece with American-made style. This beauty from Shinola uses a unique argonite quartz movement, which uses nearly four dozen Swiss-made parts and is assembled by highly trained local craftsmen in the brand’s Detroit workshop. The dial features bold Super-LumiNova printed numbers and a remote secondhand sweep. And the laser-etched case is built from solid stainless steel with a secure screw-down crown. It’s all set onto a rich, domestically-manufactured, natural leather strap, which will become even softer and more supple the more you wear it.
The steel blue on this version gives you a subtle influx of color – it's got more personality than your standard white, but doesn't shout too loud. There's a subtle texture on the strap, too, thanks to the dye process of the maple-hued aniline latigo leather, which is then finished with tonal stitching.
