Japanese Damascus 7" Cook's Knife

Sixty-eight layers of slice-ready steel.

You bought the apron, invested in the cutting board, and maybe even grew some fresh herbs. Now, it's time to throw away your worn-out knives and replace them with a blade that can do it all. This Japanese-made all-purpose knife is known as a gyuto, and is a common sight in nearly every Japanese kitchen. Great for slicing, chopping, dicing, and more, the blade is made from 68 layers of Damascus steel, beautifully harnessed in an ebony PakkaWood handle. The proprietary steel features insane edge retention and long-lasting resistance to corrosion, so no matter what state your kitchen is in, this blade will be there to lend a hand.

  • Hand-sharpened 16-degree double-bevel blade
