New Order at Shoreline Amphitheater – 1989

Begin again.

New Order was formed by the remaining members of Joy Division after the suicide of singer Ian Curtis. Together, the group began combining a post-punk sound with electronic and dance music influences. Throughout the 80s, the band worked to get out from underneath Joy Division's shadow, finally achieving recognition in the NYC club scene. This technicolor graphic pays tribute, featuring a show at Shoreline Amphitheater in 1989.
