If there's one culinary creation that's as ancient as it is delicious, it's chocolate. Since Mayan times, humans have eaten processed cacao. Inspired by traditional methods of chocolate making from Oaxaca, Taza is setting the bar.
The Guajillo chili chocolate Mexicano is a spicy kick in the mouth made from single-origin Dominican cacao. After being ground on a vintage Oaxacan stone mill, the cacao is then blended with organic chilies that balance the sweetness with some heat. These can be a quick pick-me-up that you keep in your top drawer at work, or use a few chunks to stir up a great Mexican drinking chocolate.
