Tycho is the prototype for chillwave, a genre defined by its down-tempo electronic vibes. Dive is Tycho at its hypnotic best, a fifty-minute nest of beats and ambient waves produced by Scott Hansen. The ten tracks are, as Hansen describes it, artifacts from a future which might have more in common with our past than our present. We couldn't agree more.
