Wasn’t what I expected, thought it was a forged type item and looks like something off the shelf painted grayish…

So nice and very sharp. The quality is so nice, strong, extra detail with a no slip cover on the handle also comes with safety cover for the blade. Very high quality made in Germany. They really paid attention to details on this one. Soooo satisfied with this and it fits in perfect in my camping pack
