Works as it should. Really cool to see it work.
Choose from five sculpture designs that easily stand alone as display-worthy decor: watch as incense smoke cascades over, and through, each intricate detail. The burners are engineered to contain most of the smoke generated by each incense cone within the glass dome, while holes in its base clear out the cascading smoke to reduce residue. Translation: less clean-up, more zen.
This bundle includes 2 tins of 20 cones each of specially formulated, gently-scented, long-lasting dipped backflow incense cones, also sold separately. The 'backflow effect' only works with backflow cones; ordinary cones will produce smoke as usual.
Unlike traditional incense burners, which simply release smoke into the air, backflow burners mimic a waterfall-like flow of smoke that cascades downwards. Visit the Field Guide to learn more about how backflow incense burners work.

Love these! We have multiple and they are the best smelling cones we have!
Backflow incense cones have a hollow core that causes cooler, denser smoke to flow downward rather than rising. The Ash & Fir burner channels smoke through holes in the base, creating a waterfall-like cascade over and through the sculpture. Reviewers across 282 reviews confirm the effect is exactly as shown — genuinely mesmerizing in a still room.
The sculpted incense burner (choose Snake, Volcano, Bear, Skull, or Bison design), two tins of 20 backflow incense cones in Frankincense and Sandalwood, and tweezers for placing and removing cones. It's a complete, ready-to-use setup.
No — the backflow waterfall effect only works with backflow-specific cones that have a hollow core. Standard incense cones will burn normally (smoke rising) and won't produce the downward flow. Backflow cones are widely available online for refills.
Most reviewers find it straightforward — parts are easily removable and wipe clean. A few note residue can build up in the base chambers over time and requires a couple of scrubs. Regular light cleaning after each use is easier than letting residue accumulate.
Yes — place on a level surface in a still room for the best smoke flow effect. Fans, air vents, and drafts will disrupt the downward cascade. The Frankincense and Sandalwood scents are mild and long-lasting without being overpowering.
