• Caution: The glass vessel and base will be warm to the touch in operation and after the lamp has been turned off or unplugged. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Wipe clean with a glass cleaner and soft cloth. Do not open the cap or add any fluids or solids to your lamp.
• Always operate the lamp on a firm, stationary surface. When the lamp is operating, be sure not to move or shake it in order to avoid making the liquid murky and permanently damaging it.

• Carefully unpack and assemble the Liquid Motion Lamp on a clean, flat surface.
• Recenter the bulb if necessary; the lamp bulb and socket may move slightly during shipping. If so, gently push to recenter.
• Plug in and turn the switch on to begin the initial warm-up of the lamp (2 to 4 hours). Subsequent warm-ups will take less time depending on the room's temperature.
• The lamp will function best if it is operated for no longer than 10 hours at a time.
• Do not operate the lamp on any warm/hot surface or near sources of heat or cold.
