Wick Trimmer

Fact: you should be trimming your candle wicks before each time you light them — to 1/8" to be exact. Why does this matter? A shorter wick means an even flame that doesn't burn too hot, which would essentially burn a hole through the center of the wax instead of creating an even pool. That is to say, shorter wicks mean you'll get more out of the candles you spent good money on.
