I had seen what appeared to be the same item in a local store but it was damaged. So I was excited to find it on line and ordered. The difference was in the size. The one in the store was approximately 12” c 12”. The one I received is well made and I like it but it’s about the size of a greeting card. I should have realized that but didn’t. Oh well, lesson learned.

There are tons of Sudoku Apps you can download. Sudoku are in newspapers and specialty magazines. But having a physical set is so refreshing even if setting it up is the least enjoyable part. This set is well built, and comes with ample puzzles as well as solutions. The pegs fit in each space perfectly and the print is clear and legible. There is distinction between the 6 and 9 pegs. My only real gripe or way I would improve this is to also put peg slots on the inside for travel, storage and playing. I use the empty top to hold the pegs, grouped by number. If I try to take it with me, or accidentally bump it, I have to regroup the pegs.

I really liked the idea of having a wooden Sudoku. An improvement would be to have some numbers that are underlined. . . that way, one would know those are pegs that should not be moved when solving the puzzle.
