Cast Iron Care Kit
Make your cast iron last a lifetime.
You'll hear a lot of opinions about cleaning cast iron. Regardless of your position on using dish soap for the final act, it's a no-brainer that any food bits that did manage to stick to your cookware need to come off. This combo has your bases covered – a stiff natural bristle brush should do the trick; if not, a trusty chain mail scrubber can handle the rest.
- Removes stubborn food residue without stripping seasoning
- Fiber Brush: Beechwood handle with tampico fiber bristles
- Chain Mail Scrubber: Food-grade 304 stainless steel.
- Use warm water, then brush before scrubbing in a circular motion. You may see some light scuffing, but don’t press so hard that you gouge the cast iron. For tougher jobs, * add a drop of mild detergent or a sprinkle of coarse salt and repeat.
