A proper Mint Julep starts with a proper Julep cup. Since the early 1800s, drinks like this have been kept in glistening silver goblets, which get exceptionally cold and develop a thick layer of frost (that's the sign of a properly chilled pour). The tradition caught on down South at the horse track and has been considered an essential part of any Mint Julep ever since. We've included a stainless steel spoon straw for good measure, which will keep your sips cool and help you scoop up any stray ice chips.
