Modern Sprout was started by a couple looking to create a garden in their Chicago apartment and having no luck growing plants on their own. Looking into hydroponics, they found lots of exposed tubing, grow lights, and plastic buckets. They decided to collaborate with a master grower and create a beautifully designed and easy to use hydroponic system, along with lots of other easy grow options. The business started on Kickstarter and is currently sprouting up in homes all over the US.
