Feels like very cheap plastic. The plastic smell also interferes with the scents. The scents themselves are fairly simple and most you could get from your local grocery store. For example, the caramel is a little individually wrapped candy caramel. Additionally, some of the lids weren't screwed on tigutly so there was particulants mixed about the overall case from whatever little bits spilled. Overall, hastily put together, overpriced, and cheaply made.

The nosing kit has been great. I use it to help writing out tasting descriptors, not only for bourbon but some other spirits, wine, and beer.
