I am disappointed to report it is not at all wooden, but plastic with fake wood grain that does not line up (top to bottom) no matter how you put the pieces together, but from a distance it looks great and works really well. My cat has been having some dry skin issues this winter and this has totally solved them. My plants also look a lot more lush and healthy due to it. I have been running it nonstop on high since I bought it and it is functioning perfectly. It is effective and works very well. I just wish it were a solid color as opposed to the fake wood print.
Absolutely great purchase

Honestly, every winter, i get annoying nosebleeds that don't like to stop, and I saw this humidifier. I bought it and it's amazing, and it looks great too. Plus the fact that it can act as a diffuser as well is a huge bonus.
