No, that's not a life vest under the seat—it's ParkIt's leakproof cooler, ready to hold ice and keep your cold ones cold for over eight hours. The chair itself is lightweight and sturdy (like 350 pounds sturdy) thanks to an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, and the woven polyester webbing on the seat and seatback is as comfortable as it is durable (and sports an awesome pattern, too). The seat is 16 inches off the ground, designed to match our natural seating position, and the removable cupholder is ingeniously designed, with a cutout for handles common on ceramic camp mugs. The whole thing folds up and carries easy thanks to backpack straps and a low, low weight of just 12 pounds when empty.

Really love the look & feel of this lawn chair in all its retro beauty. Attractive designs, attached cooler + cupholder and easy to fold and carry! We ordered 2 and are very happy with our purchase!

Great looking chair, comfortable to sit in, just wish it came in a back pack model over shoulder strap

A beautiful, well constructed chair. I can't wait to use the built in cooler this summer by the quarry/pool.
