We’ve been fans of Rancourt forever. Their top-of-the-line leather footwear has been handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine since before we were born — so when the opportunity came up to collaborate on a custom shoe, we jumped at the chance.
The Bison Leather Ranger Moc is a riff on the classic boat shoe silhouette that Rancourt helped make famous back in the day. Except this one includes a two-tone bison leather upper, a boot-style outsole made from natural rubber, and an exclusive green heel tab that all combine to put a unique spin on a timeless look. I like the look of them - slightly different from traditional topsiders (by a well known brand) but equally comfortable. The shoes are a little heavier than topsiders, and have more support in the heel area but even with flat feet I feel comfortable standing in them for hours.
