From brightening up a study, to amping up a bedside setup, this lamp will easily fill whatever niche you need. We built it with a polished walnut pedestal base, cut clean and minimal to bridge the gap between classic and contemporary design. The socket and hardware are handsomely fashioned from polished brass, and the cord is cloth-wrapped, meaning you don’t have to go to great lengths to keep it hidden. We’ve set the lamp up with a 6-watt LED filament bulb, which’ll last longer and use a lot less energy than a standard Edison bulb, saving you cash in the long run. Aside from the economics, though, it’ll also cast a rich, warm glow on the room whenever you flip the switch.
